BEIJING: As of October 21, the total amount of U.S. soybean export inspections decreased by 45% year on year.
Washington, October 25: The weekly export inspection report issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture showed that the volume of U.S. soybean export inspections last week was 14.1% lower than that of a week ago and 27.2% lower than the same period the previous year.
For the week ending October 21, 2021, U.S. soybean export inspections were 2,103,505 tons, compared with 2,449,732 tons last week and 2,888,760 tons in the same period the previous year.
So far, the total amount of U.S. soybean export inspections for the 2021/22 season (starting on September 1) is 8,129,440 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 45.0%, a year-on-year decrease 50.6%, and a year-on-year decrease of 64.0% two weeks ago.
In the October 2021 Supply and Demand Report, the U.S. Department of Agriculture predicted that the U.S. soybean export volume in the 2021/22 season is expected to be 2.090 billion cats, which is the same as the previous month’s forecast and is 7.73% lower than the 2.265 billion cats exported after the 2020/21 adjustment.
