BEIJING – China exported 764,64 tons of black beans in June 2021, up 112,74 tons compared to May and up 17.29 percent month-on-month, according to China customs statistics.
From January to May 2021, China exported 2.942,18 tons of black beans, which is up 7,84 percent year-on-year.
From January to June 2021, China’s top three customers were Japan, the Philippines, and South Korea. Japan ranked first with purchases of 365,58 tons, down by 21,02 percent year-on-year. The second is the Philippines at 192 tonnes. South Korea was third with 82,06 tonnes, up 31,3 percent year-on-year.
Black bean prices fell slightly this week, from USD 1.340 /mt last week to USD 1.300 /mt this week.
