Brazil significantly increases exports of corn and soybeans. About 72.2 million tons of soybeans have already been exported by the country since the beginning of the season-2022/23 which is 24% higher than the level in the last agricultural year according to the data given by specialists of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Services of the country (MDIC).
Also, It is noted that 7.5 million tons of South American corn were exported in 2022/23 MY (+7% compared to the corresponding figure a year earlier).
In addition, the weekly pace of shipments of raw materials from the country at the end of July gained momentum. Thus, according to MDIC data, from 24 to 31 last month, corn exports increased to 1.6 million tons, and soybean exports – to 1.9 million tons.
A week earlier (July 17-23), grain shipments amounted to 1.5 million tons, and oilseed shipments amounted to 1.7 million tons.
