Brazilian Farmers Are Holding Back Soybean Sales

Spread the news!

Some Brazilian farmers have resorted to tactics to restrain sales of soybeans due to low prices for oilseeds in the domestic market, said José Aroldo Gallassini, chairman of the board of the largest national farmers’ cooperative Coamo reported by Reuters.

According to him, such actions of farmers only led to a shortage of premises for storing raw materials, which forced the Coamo cooperative to rent additional tanks and increase the use of so-called “silo bags”
