Bulgaria is currently preparing proposals for the implementation of the licensing procedure for supplies of Ukrainian agricultural products, in particular, sunflower seeds. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture of Bulgaria Kyrylo Vatev during a meeting in Luxembourg with the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyy, Apkinform reported.
“The parties discussed the issue of the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. In particular, the details of the implementation of the licensing mechanism for certain types of agricultural products, which was proposed by Ukraine,” the message reads.
As it is noted, the Minister of Agriculture of Bulgaria Kyrylo Vatev assured to support the development of the Ukrainian agricultural sector. The ministers also agreed to coordinate the situation regarding the timing of the start of exports under the new rules and the list of types of agricultural products including sunflower seeds.
