According to the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, China’s red soybean exports reached 0.10 million tonnes (up 2.45%) and 41,800 tonnes in 2023. The five largest export trading partners of the People’s Republic of China are;
- South Korea 17,500 tons
- Japan 10,700 tons
- Malaysia 0.20 million tons
- Hong Kong 0.13 million tons
- United States 0.12 million tons
According to Chinese customs data, imports of red soybeans amounted to 112,000 tonnes in 2023. This figure was 28,600 tonnes in 2022. In other words, based on this data, the annual figure fell by 60.83% to 17,400 tonnes. In general, it seems difficult for demand on the foreign trade market to push up the price of small red beans significantly for the time being.
