Chinese Adzuki Beans: Decrease in Export Before the New Crop

DALIAN: The red bean in the domestic market was slow to sell. Traders digested and sold old grains on behalf of them, and the quotations continued to be low. There are still some inventories in the intermediate links of the production area. Due to the recent decrease in export sales, grain merchants have different shipping attitudes, and there are differences in quotations. The new season red adzuki beans are harvested sporadically in the Northeast production area, and some grain merchants open scales to purchase them, but due to the lack of listed supplies, the daily volume is not large. From mid-September to early October, the market volume of new grains will gradually increase. It is expected that the transaction volume of old grains will be difficult to boost, and attention should be paid to farmers’ willingness to sell goods at low prices.
