DALIAN: According to customs statistics, China’s red adzuki bean exports in July 2021 were 1,864.98 tons, a decrease of approximately 2,759.24 tons from June, a decrease of 56.47% from the previous month; a decrease of 2,673.919 tons year-on-year, a year-on-year decrease of 58.91%. From January to July, China’s cumulative export volume of red adzuki beans was 22,151.67 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 27.57%.
In July, the top three trading partners in export volume were Japan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Among them, 999.67 tons were exported to Japan, accounting for 53.6%; 222.33 tons were exported to Malaysia, accounting for 11.92%; and 168.201 tons were exported to Hong Kong, China, accounting for 9.02%.
The top three are South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia in terms of export trading partners from January to July. South Korea’s export volume was 9496.18 tons, ranking first, accounting for 42.87% of the total export volume; Japan’s export volume was 5,234.73 tons, ranking second, accounting for 23.63%; Malaysia’s export volume was 1,651.278 tons, accounting for 7.45%. Since the fourth and fifth Korean standard delivery times are between September and November this year, Zhuo Chuang Information expects China’s red adzuki bean exports to not increase significantly in September.
