DALIAN: During the May 1st holiday, some grain merchants continued to purchase. Due to the high purchase cost of red beans, the quotations for some shipments were still slightly strong. Downstream traders with low inventory buy on-demand, and some traders with inventory still hold a wait-and-see attitude and resist receiving goods at high prices. Although the enthusiasm for downstream replenishment is general, the quotations mostly follow the production areas. The winning price of the Korean bid is high, but the domestic demand is average. Paying attention to the purchasing power of the high downstream price will affect the price of red beans in the producing area.
