DALIAN – Chinese hulled spring millet is mature, and a few plots in Nanyang and Kaifeng, Henan are harvested sporadically, with poor maturity and average source quality. The varieties are mainly Yugu, Zhangza, and Tongu series, with a yield of 3.750-4.500 kg per ha.
The new millet quotation for EXW refers to USD 0.87- USD 0.90 /kg, gross grain, 15% moisture. The spring millet will be listed in mid-August, and the summer millet will be listed at the end of the month. At present, the northeast is full of rain, and the new millet is heading one after another. Shanxi, Hebei, and Shaanxi need rainfall. The hulled millet export price is USD 1.250/mt FOB this week.
