Imported soybeans from Brazilian weighed down soybean prices in China. The average arrival cost of Brazilian soybeans this week was 4,748 yuan/tonne, up 2.04% from last week and the second consecutive increase. Additional volumes of soybeans were received in China this week, further increasing price pressure on domestic soybeans. Chicago soybean prices rose this week on concerns that dry weather in the US soybean-growing region will continue and yields could be lower than expected. Deliveries between 4 June and 10 June 2021 increased by 2.04% (4748 yuan/tonne) on average for Brazilian soybeans compared to last week.
