Dalian: Market participants reported that new crops are coming into the Chinese pumpkin market after the holiday on October 1. Inquiries for intended purchases have increased recently. Exporters are waiting for new raw materials, and the main export markets are Europe and Southeast Asia. Purchases from the US market have been decreasing year-on-year, and organic products are mainly exported to Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Australia and the US.
Also, China’s organic market share is increasing year on year. Prices of new products are predicted to decrease slightly.
