Chinese Red Adzuki Bean Market Forecast

DALIAN: The quotations of grain merchants in the producing areas continued to be high today, and some grain merchants said that it is still challenging to trade at high prices. There is little surplus grain at the grassroots level, the farmers who hold the goods are asking for high prices, and the purchase cost of grain merchants is difficult to reduce.

The high-priced red adzuki beans in the domestic wholesale market just need to be shipped. Due to the different arrival costs and operational attitudes of traders, there is a price difference in the quotation. Most grain merchants in the production area have little red bean spot inventory. Due to the difficulty in stocking goods at low prices recently, grain merchants have firm stock quotations, which supports the continued high price of adzuki bean in the short term. Some traders in the domestic wholesale market still resist receiving goods at high prices and temporarily hold a wait-and-see attitude. It is expected that the transaction of high-priced red adzuki beans in short-term production areas will still be slightly more difficult.
