BEIJING: The latest data from the Department of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Commerce on January 13th show that from December 16th to 31st, China’s soybean imports shipped 884.000 tons, down 74,03% year-on-year; this month’s imports were forecast to ship 3.373.700 tons, down 54,21% year-on-year; The import forecast for next month is 946.200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 85.65%. From December 16th to 31st, the actual arrival at the port was 1.7559 million tons, a year-on-year decline of 13,11%; the next forecast was 48.000 tons, but there was no year-on-year data; the actual arrival this month was 5.2195 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.35%; 6.0962 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 46,71%.
