BEIJING: In July 2021, the top five countries in China’s imports of soybeans were Brazil, 7,875,200 tons, Argentina, 660,800 tons, Uruguay, 44,300 tons, the United States, 42,300 tons, and Russia, 27,500 tons.
In July 2021, China imported about 8,673,100 tons of soybeans, a decrease of 19.11% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 14.05%; the total amount of soybean imports was approximately US$4.995 billion, a decrease of 17.87% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 31.85%; the average unit price of imported soybeans in July 2021 was about US$575.88/ton, up 1.53% month-on-month and up 53.42% year-on-year.
