DALIAN: Feedback from market participants indicates that market prices have gradually stabilized recently, with high demand in the Middle East market. The rise in raw sunflower seeds in the previous period led to a backlog of export orders. Some Chinese importers imported European sunflower seeds at low prices to meet the demand in the domestic market. During the week, the reference price of confectionery-grade sunflower seeds was US$1,490 to US$1,530 per tonne and that of baking-grade sunflower seeds was $1,500 to $1,530 per tonne FOB Tianjin or Dalian.
