Since there is no raw material suitable for export, market players stated that the prices vary hugely. Even the prices of products whose quality is not suitable for export increased. Exporters reported that the demands have slightly decreased, prices are most requested, but not many contracts are made, and that they are processing the contracts made at the beginning of the season. Raw material prices are still around 60-65 TL/kg.
Today the Usd/TL rate was noted at 13.44 TL (13.89 last week) and Euro/TL rate at 15.35 TL levels (15.72 last week).
Turkey exported 1237 mt of dried figs and figs products, being 1345 mt during the same week of last year. The total exports range at 33.426 mt, being 33.847 mt in total in the same period last year.
