Market players reported that the raw material prices continued to increase, which resulted in an almost massive increase in the offered prices for export.
The expectations are that these increases will continue for a while as the demands are also increasing. Raw material suitable for export purposes is not available any more on the market.
Exports continue in a regular course. Exporters state that there are fewer figs available this Season which shall mean that product shall be sold out within a few months.
Today, the Turkish Lira noted the Usd/TL rate at 10.05 TL ( 9,67 last week) and Euro/TL rate at 11.48 TL levels ( 11.22 last week).
Turkey exported 2478 mt of dried figs and figs products which were 2323 mt during the same week of last year. The total of exports range at 18.562 mt which was 20.369 mt in total in the same period the previous year.
