The EU will provide Ukraine with €50 million to repair port infrastructure damaged by Russian missiles and drones. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen wrote on Twitter on November 25.
“Despite the war, Ukraine continues to feed the world. You can count on the EU in these efforts. We are continuing to improve our ‘pathways of solidarity’ and will provide €50 million to repair your port infrastructure,” the European Commission President wrote.

Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed his satisfaction with the aid and answered “Dear Ursula, I am grateful for your personal efforts as well as for the EU’s unwavering support. Ukrainian bravery and EU solidarity are two components of success, be it in the Black Sea, ensuring global food security, or defending unity and freedom in Europe.”
