The European Commission considers the decisions of Poland and Hungary to ban the import of Ukrainian grain and food unacceptable, according to the official statement of the European Commission, which was distributed on April 16.

“We know about the announcement of Poland and Hungary regarding the ban on the import of grain and other agricultural products from Ukraine. In this context, it is important to emphasize that trade policy is the exclusive competence of the European Union, and therefore unilateral actions are unacceptable,” the statement said.
