Flaxseed prices in Kazakhstan drop
According to APK-Inform, Kazakhstan’s flax market recorded another price drop last week. It is worth noting that the average oilseed price for the first time in the current season fell below the level observed at the beginning of 2021/22.
By the end of July, demand prices for linseed on the domestic market of Kazakhstan fell to EUR 4.074 for purity of 97- 98% per ton on EXW delivery terms, which was EUR 400 per ton lower than a week earlier.
Price pressure is caused by restrained demand for oilseeds against the background of insufficient interest of major importers in Kazakh products. In general, trading activity is under pressure from the seasonal factor.
