Ukraine and France are set to deepen their collaboration in the agricultural sector, with a focus on the reconstruction of the agricultural industry and aligning Ukrainian legislation with EU norms and practices. These intentions are confirmed by the Declaration of Intentions signed between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of France, Apkinform reported.
The document was signed during an official meeting in Kyiv by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyy and Minister of Agriculture of France Marc Fesneau.
Cooperation in the following areas
- cleaning and decontamination of agricultural soils after demining based on the proposals of French experts;
- development of economic, scientific and technical cooperation in the field of animal genetics;
- development of partnerships between agricultural vocational and higher education institutions;
- continuation of cooperation in the field of land relations started between the SAFER Agency for the Management of Land Resources and the Development of Rural Areas of France and the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre.
