Ukraine, Türkiye, Russia, and the UN have reached an agreement to extend the grain corridor for another two months, until July 18 this year, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on his official Telegram channel.
“Thanks to the efforts of our country, the support of our Russian friends and the contribution of our Ukrainian friends, it was decided to extend the agreement on the Black Sea Grain Corridor for another 2 months,” he said.
The Turkish president also emphasized that his country “will continue its efforts to implement all the provisions of the grain deal, fulfilling all its conditions.”
“In addition, our Russian friends have stated that they will not prevent Turkish ships from leaving the ports of Mykolaiv and Olbia,” Erdogan added.
