In September 2023, Ukraine exported 1.7 million tons of grain, which is 52% less than in the same period last year (3.6 million tons). This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, referring to the data of the State Statistics Service.

Attacks by Russia
Since July 18, as a result of Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports, 105 port infrastructure facilities have been damaged and partially destroyed. As a result of the attacks on the ports of the Danube cluster and the blockade of seaports, the export of grain cargoes to the countries of Asia, Africa and Europe decreased by almost 3 million tons per month.
