The volumes of soybeans and wheat inspected at US ports decreased in the week ending August 1, while those of corn increased. The data were published (5th) by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in its weekly report on grain shipment inspections from the country.
- The volume of soybeans inspected for export at US ports fell 36% in the week, to 261,203 tons.
- The volume of corn was 1.21 million tons, an increase of 13.37% compared to the previous week.
- The inspected volume of wheat, in turn, decreased 2.87% to 440,888 tons.
The report shows the volumes of grains inspected for export in the accumulated crop year starting on June 1, 2024 for wheat and on September 1, 2023 for corn and soybeans.
