Moldova will provide discounts for the transit through its territory of sunflower oil from Ukrainian producers. This was announced in the Ministry of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine.
Ukrainian oil producers have received a 39% discount for the transit of their products through Moldova to the Danube ports.
“As a result of negotiations of the Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine with his Moldovan counterpart, with the direct participation of Ukrainian and Moldovan railroads, Ukrainian exporters received additional discounts for transit transportation of oil through the Republic of Moldova”, – stated in the message of the Ministry.
It also said that a 39% discount was given to entrepreneurs transporting sunflower oil by rail through Moldova to the Danube ports of Reni, Giurgiulesti and Galati.
At the same time, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy specified that the deferred discount is granted on condition that the monthly volume of transportation of vegetable oils in the amount of 30 thousand tons is fulfilled.
