Recall that Brazil is the largest producer of soybeans in the world. The tropical climate and relative availability of space make this region ideal for growing not only soybeans but also corn – however, these two crops are predominantly exported, covering most of the needs of the entire world market.
Last season in the country, the drought led to a serious reduction in crop yields, but according to industry experts, the situation will recover in the 2022/23 marketing year.
