DALIAN: As the price of organic red adzuki beans rose sharply last weekend, some grain merchants began to purchase cautiously yesterday. Today, some grain merchants in the northeast production area reported that the phenomenon of grabbing has decreased.
The new season red adzuki beans in Anhui, Henan and other producing areas have been listed one after another, and the quotations of grain merchants have been raised slightly from last Friday. The prices of Dong organic and northern red adzuki beans are still lower than those of Dong Organic North Red Adzuki beans. Traders in the domestic wholesale market mainly digest inventories, their wait-and-see attitude has increased, and their willingness to receive goods at high prices has decreased.
With the price of organic adzuki beans rising to a high level again, some downstream traders have recently developed a wait-and-see attitude, making it more challenging to trade high-priced pearl adzuki beans. At the end of this month, the number of red adzuki beans on the market in Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu will continue to increase. Some traders in the surrounding markets may control the cost to replenish the goods. It is expected that the export speed of Northeast organic red adzuki beans will slow down.
