Dalian – About 30% of the old crop organic hulled millet in the northeast producing areas and about 50% of Shanxi and Shaanxi supplies are sufficient until the new crop will arrive. Exporters have a small amount of inventory, and the market supply is sufficient.
The opening rate of the hulling factories is low, the raw millet consumption is insufficient, and the downstream demand does not pull the market. New millet planting is mainly high-yield varieties, the recent rain is sufficient in most growing areas and the overall growth is good.
In July, most producing areas have sufficient rain, conducive to the growth of new millet. Yulin, Shaanxi Province, recently received little rain, and there is a drought in some areas. It must be paid attention to weather changes which could still influence the growth of new crop millet.
