YUNNAN: Exporters in the producing area reported that despite the severe shortage of high-quality organic large white kidney beans, prices were stable due to the sluggish export and domestic markets. The primary export market is the European market, and the market price is difficult for customers to accept. Due to the high cost, the US market has few orders, mainly LCL and small orders. Producers and exporters are mainly clearing inventories ahead of summer.

The good news is that ocean freight rates are now falling further, which is good for export markets. The purchase price of organic raw grains fell to 1.870 US dollars/ton, 45 grains / 100 grams. At present, exporter’s quotations have begun to decline, and export orders have decreased significantly compared with the same period last year.
