Tianjin: Organic Chinese lentils have been on the market in 2021. Due to the low output of lentils in China, traders and manufacturers start to purchase and stock up after each year, resulting in price increases. At present, exporters’ quotations are too high.
The price of organic lentils has reached 1.530-1.570 US dollars per ton. Importers have reported that the price is too high and it is not easy to accept. After the market stabilises, prices can fall. Especially Italian importers pay special attention to Chinese organic lentils. About 65% of the export market is exported to Italy. Czech importers are also interested in Chinese lentils. There are more inquiries than last year. Exporters are looking forward to falling prices of lentils and expanding exports. They continue to pay attention to changes in the Chinese market.
