Polish law enforcement officials have filed charges against an organized crime group that illegally traded agricultural trailer.
Fake identification
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Lublin Voivodeship submitted to the court a case in which 6 persons are suspected of participating in an organized criminal group. They were selling agricultural trailers with fake identification marks. A total of 625 charges have been filed against 6 persons.
The criminal activity lasted for at least three years. The members of the group, following the defined distribution of roles, falsified contracts for the sale of agricultural trailers of German citizens, and later also vehicle identification marks and technical inspection documents.
Using forged documents, the trailers were registered in the province and sold at a very low price. As a result, the state treasury lost revenue.
The total value of the agricultural machinery sold is about 2.5 million. zlotys (about 600 thousand euros). For the alleged acts, the suspects face up to 12 years in prison.
