Raisins are breaking records. The raisin market had a very active week. The raw material price reached 80 TL(€2,42). Exporters who do not have stock are not happy with this situation, and those who have stock are thinking about how to replace the product they sell. The price of raw materials seeing these figures is a record price for the history of the market, but farmers want it to be 200 TL(€6). The rapid increase in raw material prices strengthens the possibility of 200 TL(€6).
Manisa, the center of raisins, meets the majority of the 60% exports from the Aegean region. It is expected that new production facilities will join in the new season and existing facilities will increase their capacity.
Our weekly export is 4523 tons, our average sales price is 2453 USD or 2277 EURO and there is an increase of 150 tons compared to last year.
