According to “APK-Inform”, since the end of February, rapeseeds price in Ukraine started to decrease. Mainly it concerns non-GMO rapeseed in the direction of the western border.
Thus, during the specified period, purchase prices fell by 20-25 USD/t. As of March 8th, FCA prices varied within the range of 500-515 USD/t in West regions.
Despite the extremely low activity of rapeseed supply from agricultural producers, we still can observe the development of a downward price trend. It was supported by an even lower pace of trade and purchasing activity. The demand of importers was mostly situational. The buyers mainly formed a base of raw materials for work or switched to purchasing other oil crops.
We will remind you that the end of February and the beginning of March were marked by a decrease in sunflower prices on the main sales markets in Eastern Europe.
