First invitation number P1 – AT2636-SI-23(855)
Second invitation number P2 – AT2637-SI-23(856)
The second invitation, P2 – AT2637-SI-23(856), witnessed bids from several agents. Agrisso Korea from Nigeria clinched a deal for 300 MT at $2,098.98 per MT. Junie & Co., marking their presence once again, won a bid for 300 MT from Pakistan at $2,128.88 per MT. Furthermore, Saltrans Co., along with Saladin, Jaya Co. Ltd, and International Trade – all from Nigeria – were awarded 900 MT, 300 MT, 300 MT, and 300 MT respectively, each at a consistent price of $2,150.00 per MT.
It’s noteworthy that despite the availability of 6,600 MT across both tender invitations, only 3,300 MT have been allocated in this round. To address the remaining 3,300 MT, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation has announced that a new tender will be declared early next week, with an expected time of arrival set for the end of February.
This series of tenders reflects the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation’s dedication to sourcing quality sesame seeds for the Korean market. All potential bidders are encouraged to remain updated on the upcoming tender and ensure adherence to the stipulated guidelines.
Stakeholders in the sesame trade are once again reminded of the great opportunity this presents not only for business expansion with a renowned agency but also for contributing significantly to the thriving agro-fisheries sector in Korea.
