Risk in Chinese Adzuki Bean Market

DALIAN: The red adzuki beans in the production area are not sold quickly, and the export orders are mainly based on South Korea’s bidding. Grain merchants avoided risks, some stopped harvesting, and some continued to buy at lower prices. Farmers still hold a small amount of goods, most of them are not willing to sell goods at low prices, and only a few are approved to sell grain, so grain merchants are not happy to sell goods at low prices. The demand for red beans in the domestic wholesale market has not improved. Some traders said that their shipments have been stable recently, while others said that the transaction volume was low.
