The pace of harvesting soybeans in Brazil has advanced by 6% over the week and now 21% of the area from the plan is threshed in the country. Such data in their monitoring are given by analysts of “Safras & Mercado”, stressing that the current indicators are significantly inferior to last year’s (33%) and somewhat correspond to the average level over the past 5 years (23%).
“The increase in the pace of harvesting oilseeds is hampered by significant precipitation,” experts warn.
Experts also note that this week the rains will continue to fall in the states of Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Sao Paulo, Minas Gerais and Goiás. However, no rainfall is forecast in most of the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
