Grain prices, which have been on an upward trend in recent weeks, continued to rise last week. Wheat, barley and maize prices increased together. According to the average data of the Commodity Exchanges, bread wheat prices reached 9000 TL or 273 € last week, while durum wheat prices crossed the psychological limit of 11000 TL 333 €. Barley prices reached 7,500 TL or €227.60, while corn prices traded at 6,500 TL or €197.
Commodity Exchanges and TMEX have announced grain prices. According to the prices compiled last week, bread wheat, durum wheat, barley and corn prices rose together.
HOW WERE THE PRICES IN THE LAST WEEK?
Comparing the data for the last week, bread wheat was traded at 8,920 TL/tonne or €270/tonne or €337/tonne, durum wheat at 11,150 TL/tonne or €338/tonne, barley at 7,460 TL/tonne or €226/tonne and corn at 6,580 TL/tonne or €199/tonne. According to the weekly average, bread wheat increased by 60 TL or €1.82 per tonne, durum wheat by 350 TL or €10.62, barley by 160 TL or €4.86 and corn by 180 TL or €5.46.
PRICES ON TMEX ALSO ON THE RISE!
While a similar situation was experienced on the TMEX side, wheat, barley and corn prices also increased in the TMEX market compared to the previous week. Bread wheat price increased from 8900 TL (€270) to 8970 TL (€272), durum wheat price increased from 9800 TL (€297) to 10170 TL (€308), barley price increased from 7190 TL (€218) to 7240 TL (€219) and corn price increased from 6380 TL (€193) to 6540 TL (€198).
