More than 7 thousand tons of unrefined rapeseed oil were exported to the Chinese market by the Orel region last month, the Rosselkhoznadzor’s press service reports.
“According to the results of laboratory tests of the products carried out by the VNIIZZH FSBI subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor, the export consignments met the requirements of the importing country,” the report reads.
The Rosselkhoznadzor department issued 236 phytosanitary certificates.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Agriculture suggests that the ban on rapeseed exports from Russia should be extended until 31 August 2023. According to industry experts, this decision will create a high production and export potential of finished products like oil, meal, and cake. This potential will be most actively expressed against the backdrop of the record oilseed crop that was harvested in Russia last year.
