As of the beginning of December, Ukrainian farmers have almost finished harvesting sunflowers and soybeans. As of the reporting date, 2% of the soybean crop and 3% of the sunflower crop remain in the field.
Soybeans
Thus, soybeans were threshed from 1.5 million hectares (98%), the grain volume is 3.6 million tons. The average yield is 2.4 tons/ha.
Sunflower
Sunflower harvest was carried out on 4.5 million hectares (97%). 9.9 million tons of seeds were threshed with an average yield of 2.17 tons/ha.
At the same time, shipments of sunflower oil in November slightly increased: 466 thousand tons against 433 thousand tons in October. Also, supplies of sunflower seeds increased by 80 thousand tons in the last month of autumn, they amounted to 377 thousand tons. An upward trend is also observed in the export of soybeans, they went by 155 thousand tons more than in October, that is about 385 thousand tons.
