Some countries have already agreed on a licensing plan for Ukrainian agricultural products supplied to the EU. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky announced this on TV.
He noted that Ukraine is currently negotiating with five neighboring countries (Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria) to unblock agricultural exports.
An exchange of notes has already taken place with Romania. That is the country has confirmed that it will work according to this plan. Others took breaks to prepare questions.
Solsky specified that meetings with representatives of these countries and the European Commission will be held this week.
“I think it’s a matter of a few weeks. In fact, Romania and Bulgaria are already working on this option. They are waiting for our next steps. Hungary, Slovakia, and Poland are still in negotiations and coordination,” he noted.
