ODESA: Active export demand against the background of rising world prices and limited supply from producers led to an increase in purchase prices for wheat in Ukrainian ports to 300 $/t.
At the same time, farmers take advantage of the lack of rain to harvest late crops as soon as possible. Also, winter crops sowing is in high gear. Thus, they do not have time to sell wheat, even at high prices. After harvesting, grains supply, especially wheat, will increase. Most probably, it will have tremendous pressure on local prices.
Purchase prices for milling wheat in the central Ukrainian ports remain at 8850-8950 UAH / t or 295-300 $ / t. Prices for feed wheat are at the level of 8100-8400 UAH / t or 275-280 $ / t.
