There is a decline in wheat prices in the world, in direct proportion to the supply and demand balance in the wheat market. Yesterday’s grain contract quotations on world stock exchanges mostly resulted in a decrease in prices. Wheat in MATIF fell by 1.5%.
The price of wheat in MATIF dropped to 210 Euro/ton
The price of wheat in the contract for delivery in Matif in March decreased by 1.5% and its cost became 210.00 Euro/ton (PLN 909/ton) and prices decreased by 27.0% on an annual basis.
The price of corn on the Paris Stock Exchange fell 0.3% in the March contract. It amounted to EUR 181.00/t (783 PLN/t) and decreased by 35.2% last year.
Only corn on CBOT managed to avoid decline
In CBoT, wheat fell 1.6% in the March contract. and costs US$216.88/ton. Quotations decreased by 22.0% compared to the same month of the previous year. The price of corn in the March delivery contract on the Chicago Stock Exchange remained unchanged at US$ 174.30/ton or €161,68/ton, decreasing by 34.6% compared to last year.
