Wheat is Again Number One in Ukrainian Exports

Wheat and corn are the most exported grains from Ukraine

29.1 million tons of grains, legumes, oil crops and products of their processing have crossed the Ukrainian border since the beginning of the war.

This is stated in the notification of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

The total tonnage of wheat shipments is 6.3 million tons, corn — 11.1 million tons.

The supply of both crops in November differs for the first time in the direction of an increase in wheat: 829,000 tons of wheat were exported, and 774,000 tons of corn, respectively. By the middle of last month, more of these grain crops were sent, the volume of each was more than 1 million tons.

Sunflower oil is also among leaders

The third position in terms of shipments in November and in general is occupied by sunflower oil – 307 thousand tons. This is 42 thousand tons more than it was in mid-October. In total, 2.6 million tons of oil were shipped to other countries during the war.

The same upward trend is observed in the supply of soybeans: 199,000 tons in the first half of this month against 118,000 tons in October. The total tonnage of soybeans for 8.5 months is 1.2 million tons.

The volume of shipments of sunflower seeds increased, 186,000 tons crossed the border in 16 days of November. A total of 2.2 million tons were sent during the war.

Instead, rapeseed supplies more than halved: 183,000 tons in the 16 days of November compared to 341,000 tons in October. In the total number of shipments during the war, rapeseed ranks 4th among all crops and amounts to 2.6 million tons of seeds.
