Odesa – Ukrainian wheat began to rise in price again, despite the high current yield. The main reason is the deterioration of harvest prospects in the United States, Canada and Russia. Soon, this factor will continue to contribute to the growth of prices on the world market.
This week the total price increase is not very big and amounts to 3-5 $/t. But some market participants have to increase their purchasing prices to close their contract obligations. So CPT prices in main Ukrainian ports range from 220 $/t to 230$/t.
