BUDAPEST – As the wheat harvest is getting closer to its finish, the results per hectare are becoming more subtle. After lower yields, many farmers have published 8-9 mt/ha results which are very nice regarding the big hot was hurting the plants. Not only the harvest driven price decrease can be seen but positive information from the USA, Russian and Ukrainian markets is curbing the price fall, the end of which can not be predicted at the moment.

Meantime cutting of the rape seed has started as well. First yield results: 3,5-6,0 Mt / Ha.
