Wheat prices revive growth.

ODESA: Purchase prices for wheat in Ukraine showed a slight decline due to reduced export demand last week. This week growth resumed after rising quotations on world exchanges.

Uncertainty over the wheat harvest in Canada remains the main driver of rising prices. Another reason was that Egyptian state operator GASC purchased 180,000 tons of Ukrainian and Romanian wheat through tender. Egyptian tenders are always good indicators of prices for Black Sea wheat. So wheat prices in Ukrainian ports showed a sharp increase at the beginning of this week. At the moment, they are reaching 260 $/ t for feed and 270-280 $/ t for milling wheat.
