1,762,372 kilograms of Iranian cumin worth 3,489,965 USD were exported in 2022. The average price of cumin exported last year was 1.98 USD per kg. The most important customers of this Iranian product were Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Iraq, and Pakistan last year.

The export of Iranian cumin has grown by about 21 percent in 2022 compared to the previous year. The most important reason for the increase in the export of this product in 2022 is the production increase compared to 2021, which led to a rise in its supply in global markets. Also, the increase in the quality of the product in 2022 led to a rise in export demand and the export of this product compared to 2021.
