Turkey: Restrictions on Exports of Agricultural Products

The authority to regulate periodic export of some agricultural products has been given to the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry with the “Communiqué on the Export of Certain Agricultural Products” published in the Official Gazette on Thursday, January 27, 2022.

The products that have been authorised to regulate according to the communique are as follows: Potatoes, tomatoes, dried onions, dried garlic, apples, gherkins, beans, olives, green peppers, eggplant, red lentils, oranges, mandarins, lemons, watermelon, common beans, olives, olive oil, chicken, eggs, and butter. The implementation will continue until December 31, 2022.
