The purchase prices of dried figs, one of Aydın’s important products, have been announced by the TARIS Fig Association. While the figures are determined by the quality of dried figs, this year’s purchase prices vary between 8 TL and 70 TL per kilogram.
The prices, which the farmers are eagerly waiting for, were announced at the meeting held by the Tariş Fig Union. Prices are as follows:

After the announcement of the prices, Mustafa Bircan, the President of TARIS Fig Union, also responded to the criticisms made against him; ‘As TARIS Fig Association, we have determined our Dried Fig purchase prices for the 2022-2023 business year. As every year, we did not make our partners a victim in this business year, taking into account the inflation figures. We wish all our partners the best of the season,” he said.
The dried fig producer is not satisfied with the announced prices. They state that the prices differ very little from last year’s prices, and that they, as producers, are suffering due to inflation and the fact that the dollar exchange rate has increased almost three times compared to the previous year.
On the other hand, the Turkish Lira is continuing to depreciate and the Usd/TL rate at 18,18 TL (18,10 last week) and Euro/TL rate is at 18,18 TL levels (17,99 last week).
